🥩🥦 Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

🧾 Ingredients

🥩 Beef

  • 400–500g beef (flank, sirloin, or cubed beef sliced thin)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp oil

🥦 Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2–3 tbsp water (for steaming)

🍶 Sauce

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but recommended)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (to thicken)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Marinate beef

  • Mix beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and oil
  • Let sit for 10–15 minutes

2. Cook broccoli

  • Add broccoli to a pan with a splash of water
  • Cover and steam for 2–3 minutes until bright green
  • Set aside

3. Sear beef

  • Heat oil in a pan or wok
  • Cook beef in batches until browned
  • Remove and set aside

4. Make sauce

  • In same pan, add garlic and ginger
  • Stir in sauce ingredients
  • Simmer until slightly thickened

5. Combine

  • Add beef and broccoli back in
  • Toss until coated and heated through
