Here’s a simple, classic Baked Potato—crispy skin outside, fluffy inside, and easy to customize.


🥔 Baked Potato (Oven Method)

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 large baking potato (russet works best)
  • 1–2 tsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt (for skin)
  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, pepper

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the potato

  • Wash and scrub well
  • Pat dry
  • Poke 4–6 holes with a fork (lets steam escape)

2. Season

  • Rub skin lightly with oil or butter
  • Sprinkle with salt for crispy skin

3. Bake

  • Oven: 200°C (400°F)
  • Place directly on rack or baking tray
  • Bake for 45–60 minutes (depends on size)

4. Serve

  • Slice open
