🍖🥬 Ground Beef & Cabbage Stir Fry

Fast, budget-friendly, and very filling—this is a simple one-pan meal with great flavor.


Ingredients

  • 300–500g ground beef
  • 4 cups cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1–2 tbsp oil
  • 2–3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust—soy sauce is salty)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp vinegar or lemon juice (optional, for balance)

👨‍🍳 Method

1. Cook beef

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add ground beef
  • Cook 5–7 minutes until browned and slightly crispy
  • Drain excess fat if needed

2. Add aromatics

  • Add onion + garlic
  • Cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant

3. Add cabbage

  • Stir in shredded cabbage
  • Cook 5–8 minutes until softened but still slightly crunchy

4. Season

  • Add soy sauce, pepper, paprika/chili
  • Mix well
  • Optional: add vinegar or lemon juice at the end for brightness

🔑 Tips

  • Don’t overcook cabbage → keeps it slightly crisp
  • Cook beef until lightly browned for better flavor
  • High heat = better stir-fry texture

  • Add eggs for extra protein
  • Add chili garlic sauce for spice
  • Serve over rice or noodles
  • Add carrots or bell peppers for color
