Here’s a super simple 3-ingredient pan-fried halloumi—crispy outside, soft and salty inside.


🧀🔥 3-Ingredient Pan-Fried Halloumi

Ingredients

  • 200–250g halloumi cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
  • Optional seasoning: black pepper or chili flakes (counts as pantry staple)

🍳 Method

  1. Slice halloumi
    Cut into ½–1 cm thick slices.
  2. Heat pan
    Add olive oil to a non-stick pan and heat on medium.
  3. Fry
    Place halloumi slices in the pan. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Serve immediately
    Best eaten hot while the outside is crispy.

🔑 Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan
  • No need for salt—halloumi is already salty
  • Medium heat is key (too high burns it fast)
